Unreleased Adaptions[]

Adaptations are variant Hunters, Monsters and Maps that have different abilities, appearances, and gameplay additions.

There were several unreleased Adaptations slated to release sometime during Evolve: Stage 2's development.

Hunters[]

Bucket[]

Bucket was planned to have three adaptions.

Assault ("Warbucket")[]

This adaption was planned to release shortly after the October update, along with the Phantom Wraith. He was the Assault variant of Bucket and featured a much taller, wider, and bulkier appearance.

Warbucket was planned to use the Laurie-Anne's broken wings as a main weapon, which would fuel his jetpack and allow for limitless flying.

Lore: Warbucket belongs in the Extinction era[1].

Trapper ("Captain Bucket")[]

This adaption did not have a release date. He was the Trapper variant of Bucket and would feature a bright, colorful appearance in line with Quantum Caira and Electro Griffin.

Many of Captain Bucket's abilities were not disclosed, although he could throw out a miniature mine to dome the Monster, which the Monster would need to destroy in order to escape. He would also be able to create an electrified fence that, upon running through, would affect the Monster's stamina.

Lore: Captain Bucket belongs in the Overpowered era.

Medic ("EMBucket")[]

This adaption did not have a release date. He was the medic variant of Bucket and would inhabit Emet's body.

Many of EMBucket's abilities were not disclosed, though his turrets would work similarly to Emet's medical buoys.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Cataclysm era.

Lazarus[]

Medic ("Necro Lazarus")[]

This adaption did not have a release date. He was a medical variant of Lazarus and featured a grim, skull-like appearance. His Lazarus Device gave off purple lighting instead of his original character's blue lighting.

Necro Lazarus still possessed his Lazarus Device, which could heal dead teammates from a distance. However, this would give revived Hunters a permanent health drain. To rectify this, revived Hunters could shoot Lazarus' markers on the Monster to heal themselves.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Cataclysm era.

Slim[]

Assault ("Savage Slim")[]

This adaption did not have a release date. He was the Assault variant of Slim and was concepted to feature a larger, bulkier, and monstrous appearance due to Kali's infection.

Savage Slim's abilities were not disclosed.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Deepest Dark era.

Torvald[]

Assault[]

This adaption was planned to release alongside Captain Bucket. He was a variant of Torvald and would have a brighter, more fantastical appearance.

This adaptions abilities were not disclosed.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Overpowered era.

Sunny[]

Assault[]

This adaption was the variant of Sunny and would inhabit a modified version of Ida Lennox's suit, the Thunderchild.

This adaption's abilities were not disclosed.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Extinction era.

Jack[]

Support ("Super Jack")[]

This adaption was the Support variant of Jack and was described to be a mutated, technology-spliced version of Jack due to Kali's infection.

Super Jack's abilities were not discussed in great length, but it was mentioned that he would be able to link two teammates' together to share the damage of their primary weapons. His repulsor would also be modified to "block anything in a large area"[2].

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Deepest Dark era.

Hyde[]

Assault ("Hellfire Hyde")[]

This adaption was a variant of Hyde and was a mutated, upgraded version of the original Hyde.

Hellfire Hyde featured a modified chemical primary weapon which would have been able to spray out a toxic gas. These clouds would explode when paired with Hyde's flare gun. Hellfire Hyde would also gain Daisy as a pet; a more aggressive, upgraded version of Wasteland Daisy.

Lore: This adaption belongs in the Deepest Dark and Extinction era.

Monsters[]

Kala ("Kali")[]

Now, infested by the Hybrid, only the most savage and brutal of Hunters remain.

- Announcer

Kali is the Monster variant of Kala. Her appearance was a mix between Goliath, Kraken, and Wraith.

Kali, being a combined version of Goliath, Kraken and Wraith would be able to use all their abilities, although they would be "slightly modified" versions of them. To do this, the player would be able to create combos with the ability keys (1-1-3 for Goliath's fire breath, 1-2-3 for Wraith's warp blast, etc.) and she was described as a "very versatile" Monster.

Queen Gorgon[]

The Gorgon Queen is a variant of Gorgon. Not much is known about this variant other than it existed in the Deepest Dark era and would be a much "larger" version of the Gorgon Guardian.
